REPAIRS

We repair:

• heels (tips and entire blocks)
• repair and reattach broken heels

• we patch any holes
• innersoles
• replace or repair broken straps
• We can also alter sizes including modifying boot legs and shoe width.

HANDBAG AND WALLET REPAIR AND RESTORATION

At Evans, we don't just work exclusively with shoes; we also repair and restore handbags, wallets and luggage.

Is your handbags handle broken? we can custom make a handle for you, the same as the original.

Is your lining worn out, dirty, broken or ugly? we can create and install any lining for you.

Is your bags stitching getting old and breaking? we can re-stitch and make your bag as good as new.

Does your bag need a new zip, lock or rivet? if we cant repair it, we can replace it. 

 

RESTORATION


Do you have a special pair of shoes or boots or any other leatherwear which you absolutely love? do you have a special pair of shoes from a special event that you want to keep?

Evans has the best protection and advice to help maintain your special shoes or boots in pristine quality. Ranging from waterproofing to protective soles, and a large assortment of polishes. 

 

COVERING


Shoe covering is a special job for your special occasions. We can cover your shoes with any material of your choosing: to match a wedding dress, to match a handbag.

All we need is 1/2 a square metre of fabric of your choosing, and we do the rest. The results are astounding, your original shoe will look great with your special outfit.

 

 

DYEING AND COLOUR MATCHING


Do you want to change the colour of your shoes, boots or handbag? We can dye them any colour of your choice. All we need is a sample of the colour that you want. Are your shoes looking scuffed and worn? we can touch-up and restore the original colour and feel of your shoes.

NOTE: Dying works best when we dye a light article to a darker colour. Also, leather works the best, we can dye fabric shoes at your own risk (but they mostly work out great anyway) Jobs will require a minimum of 1 week unless they are emergency jobs.

 

Payment and Things You NEED to know..

There are many questions about our work and our payment methods. You will find all of the answers here:

• How long do repairs take?
  Standard Repairs like heel-tips and sole/heel jobs can be done while you wait depending on the work load; other non-standard jobs need to be analysed and quoted for a good estimate of how long the job will take. Dying and covering jobs will require upwards of 5 days to ensure the best possible job.
   

• How can you find out whether or not my job is complete?
  All you need to do is call and quote your surname or receipt number and we will inform you of your jobs progress.
   

• Do you need to leave a deposit for any work?
  For most jobs a deposit is unnecessary; although for some larger jobs, we will require a deposit.
   

• Do you accept EFTPOS and Credit Cards?
  Yes we accept all credit cards and EFTPOS and cold hard cash.
   

• Is there a guarantee for your work?
  Yes,  all of our work has a 30 day guarantee.
