Heel Tip Replacement

Heel Tips for Stilettos and Heeled Boots

Heel tip replacement renews the small rubber ends on stilettos, high heels and heeled boots. At our Melbourne workshop, we replace worn or missing tips to help protect the heelpieces and restore grip. Thin or uneven rubber is a sign they need attention.

Our Heel Tip Replacement Service

We always replace heel tips as a pair, supplying Vibram rubber tips or fitting branded spares you provide. We remove worn tips and pins, then fit and smooth replacements to suit the heel profile. Send photos of your shoes or boots to our team for a quote.

Shoe and Boot Heel Tip Replacement | FAQs

We select replacement tips in a similar shape and colour, then shape and smooth them to the heel profile. We supply Vibram rubber tips and can also fit branded spare tips you provide. We cannot promise an identical match to the original components.

We assess missing tips and stuck or broken pins, including damage from an attempted replacement. Send photos of the underside and side of both heels. If a metal pin is exposed, stop wearing the shoes to help prevent further damage. A damaged heelpiece may need more than tip replacement.

Send photos of your shoes or boots for a quote. We always replace both tips, even when only one is worn or missing. The repair charge is the same whether we supply Vibram rubber tips or fit your branded spares. Any damage beyond the tips needs separate assessment.

Heel tips are the small rubber ends on narrow heels; larger heel caps require a different repair. We can also assess damaged heelpieces for replacement and scuffed or torn leather coverings for restoration or re-covering. Send photos showing the wear so we can advise on the appropriate work.

You can visit our Melbourne workshop or post your shoes or boots from anywhere in Australia. Send photos first for advice and a quote, and let us know if you have branded spare tips you would like us to fit.

Rotating between pairs can help reduce concentrated wear. Check the rubber regularly and arrange replacement when it becomes thin, uneven or missing. Avoid continuing to wear shoes with exposed metal pins, as this can lead to damage beyond the replaceable tip.
