Send photos of the soles and footwear to our team for a quote. The work required may range from rebuilding a worn toe area to replacing full soles. If the rand—the part joining the upper to the sole—is split or cracked, it must also be replaced. We assess the required work before recommending an option.

We resole leather and rubber-soled footwear, including Goodyear-welted shoes, subject to condition and construction. Not every shoe can accept every replacement sole. Our leather resoles include stitching where the original design requires it, or on request where feasible. Send photos so we can assess suitable options and provide a quote to help you decide whether to repair.

Localised wear may only need leather toe pieces or worn areas built up before protective rubber soles are fitted. Half soles can suit damage concentrated at the front, while more extensive wear may require full replacement. Holes or leather soles that feel soft and give way under finger pressure are signs to have them assessed.

We strongly recommend protective rubber soles over new leather soles. TOPY or Vibram protectors help preserve the leather, improve slip resistance and reduce water absorption. Our Vibram protective soles come in various styles, colours and thicknesses, and can be replaced as they wear.
